The Smithwood Cup
A Tradition Better Than The Rest
Pipe City Golf Club
Pipe City are the newest kids on the block. 2017 was a difficult freshman year but 2018 was not. They were well in the hunt after day 2 and had everyone watching. With 4 years now under their belts and team chemistry really starting to take form and Pipe City is ready for redemption in 2021.
Scott Globetti
Scott is team captain and is now starting to get his feet under him in that role. Scotts Smithwood track record the last few years has been atrocious. Hes basically disappeared in an abyss and hasnt been seen in a few years. Will 2021 be the resurrection of old scott? See photo gallery here
Kyle Chaffin
As a fourth year Smithwood member, Kyle has been a golfing force to be reckoned with. His cool, calm, swing is one to be desired as he continues to laugh at others miseries. Will his 2018 off-season begin to show a cooling pattern? Kyle is the raining Woodworker and Blacksmith at the Cup!
Nick Daley
As an honorary member of OG from previous heroic events, 4th year player "Banks" looks to avoid the choke slam in 2021. Banks is a great solo player but has proven to be a tough teammate, putting alot of pressure on his teammates to perform (they havent).
Parker Griese
Parker is such a wildcard at the Cup. He earned his name back in 2020 and put together 1 round with 3 terrible rounds. Can he find some consistency in that crazy swing of his to help lead PC to a cup?
